Autobiography

Abdrakhimov R.G., born in 1958, graduated with honors from the Faculty of Geography at KazGU named after Al-Farabi in 1980 with a degree in hydrological engineering. In 1983, he defended his dissertation on "Unsteady Water Movement During Freezing and Ice Breakup Periods in Large Watercourses", earning the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences. Since 1983, he has been working at KazNU, progressing from junior researcher to associate professor. Since 1994, he has been an associate professor at the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology. From 2004 to 2011, he served as the head of the Land Hydrology Department. He teaches courses such as "Hydrological Calculations" "Winter Regime of Rivers". Actively involved in methodological work, he supervises diploma and dissertation projects. Since 2017, he has been an associate professor at the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology.
